Seven Oxen Estate Wines is a winery and 25-acre vineyard located in the hills of Paso Robles, California. They take a simple and minimalistic approach to their small winery, farming their vineyard organically and picking the fruit by hand. Seven Oxen describes their philosophy as "old school and old world, yet young, modern, and visionary."

The name "Seven Oxen" is translated from the Latin term for the Big Dipper, septem triones (seven plowing oxen). The seven stars of the Big Dipper perpetually spin around the North Star, just like how threshing oxen wheel about a central pole. The logo combines the outline of an ox and the North Star into one mark, with a wine glass hidden in plain sight.
